PLIVA d.d. announced today that Željko Čović, President of the Management Board of PLIVA d.d. and Chief Operating Officer, decided to leave the company and pursue his career elsewhere due to personal reasons. Mr. Čović resigned from his position of the President of the Management Board, effective December 31, 2008, at the meeting of the Supervisory Board held on December 29, 2008. // 12/30/08
