With the introduction of new psychiatric drugs throughout Central and Eastern Europe, PLIVA organized an international workshop focusing on the various therapy opportunities for psychiatric disorders. PLIVA hosted 45 participants & lecturers from Russia, Poland, Croatia, Slovakia, Belarus, and Bosnia & Herzegovina. This was an excellent opportunity for professionals to network while exchanging their knowledge and clinical experience with the new PLIVA drugs (Velafax and Risset).

PLIVA’s International Workshop met the need for continuous education of practicing psychiatrist and was verified by the Croatian Medical Chamber.

This workshop was a great opportunity to emphasize the success of our new generic drugs which help to reinforce PLIVA as one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in Central and Eastern Europe.

Prof. Vera Folnegovic Smalc, president of the Croatian Society for Clinical Psychiatry was the chairman for the meeting.

The workshop started with a warm welcoming presentation given by Marijana Oremus, MD, Manager of Clinical Trials, Medical & Markteing Affairs, followed by presentations of international speakers. (PLIVA Brochure with the detailed programme in attached pdf.)

The CNS Product managers from the CEE region also had an opportunity to share their experience and discuss specific issues and concerns.
